Wilsona District Offered Big Smiles Dental Visits in October; Families Can Ask About Next Session

WILSONA GARDENS, Los Angeles County — Wilsona School District announced a Big Smiles dental program for its students during October 2026, inviting parents to register children in advance.

The district’s September 4 announcement directed families to its nursing department’s oral health and screening resources. The program was presented as an opportunity for students across the district, which serves Wilsona Gardens and neighboring communities.

What happens after October?

The initial event period has passed. The district webpage does not confirm that another dental visit has already been scheduled for November or that a student was automatically enrolled. Parents who missed registration should contact their school’s office or district nurse to ask about future availability, consent forms and any insurance or eligibility requirements.
